Drawing on nearly twenty years of experience in retail, and working with diverse technologies, such as facial recognition, eye‐tracking, robotics and 3D printing, we’re certain that one of our solutions can be tailored to your needs.
Omni Labs researches innovative solutions for retail, working with 3D scanning and printing, interactive displays, gesture control, eyetracking, facial recognition and virtual holographic displays.
Replicarium, a service which provides 3D objects containing geometric information about themselves. The information stored in the objects could be considered a “Digital Genetic Code”, and is user-readable so that new duplicates can be printed or milled locally from the original object.
Project Seraphim was developed in 2003 to help volunteers and NGOs or philanthropic organizations connect. On one side, organizations create a free account and select their immediate needs, and on the other side, volunteers can enter contact information and what they would like to help with.
Concerned with the environmental impact of filming objects in studio, where lighting alone can consume dozens of kilowatt-hours, Omni Labs has explored 3D scanning technology, so that products can be quickly scanned, and realistically rendered for a tenth of the power.
We aim to increase the interactivity between man and machine: motion capture, eye tracking, gesture control and brain-computer interface are some of the technologies we are exploring.
